Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. About This Policy
This Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains how ELDARA Solutions Inc. (“Eldara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles payments, cancellations, refunds, taxes, receipts, and payment-related issues for the Eldara website, Golden Key, and future Eldara payment flows where this Policy is linked or presented.
This Policy forms part of Eldara's Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this Policy and a checkout notice, service-specific payment term, or category-specific cancellation rule shown to you before payment, the more specific term will apply to that transaction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
2. Current Pre-Launch Payment Offer
Eldara is currently in pre-launch.
The current paid pre-launch offer is Golden Key Early Bird.
Golden Key Early Bird is available for $15 CAD + applicable taxes during the Early Bird release.
Eldara may later change the availability, price, or terms of future Golden Key releases. Any future price or offer change will not change the price or core benefits confirmed for a completed Golden Key purchase.
3. What the Golden Key Is
Golden Key is a one-time digital pre-launch status for Eldara's early community.
Golden Key Early Bird includes:
- early access to Eldara before public access opens;
- a one-time $10 CAD promotional discount on the holder's first eligible Eldara request;
- a Golden Key badge in the holder's future Eldara profile, where available; and
- the ability to help Eldara understand early demand by city.
Early access, profile features, and service availability depend on product readiness, launch timing, city coverage, category availability, and operational capacity.
4. $10 First Eligible Request Discount
Golden Key includes one $10 CAD promotional discount for the holder's first eligible Eldara request after Eldara begins offering eligible services.
The discount:
- is not cash;
- is not transferable;
- cannot be sold, exchanged, or redeemed for money;
- is not a gift card, stored value, account balance, or prepaid service credit;
- may only be used once;
- may only apply where Eldara offers an eligible payment flow; and
- does not apply to payments made directly to a service professional unless Eldara clearly states otherwise.
Eldara will show the applicable discount, eligibility conditions, and payment details before the discount is applied to an eligible request.
5. What the Golden Key Is Not
Golden Key is not a subscription, service booking, deposit, gift card, stored value, prepaid service credit, investment, donation, guarantee of launch timing, guarantee of service availability, guarantee of provider availability, guarantee of emergency service, guarantee of same-day service, or guarantee of any specific response time.
The $10 first-request benefit is a limited promotional discount only. It is not cash, a refund, a general account credit, or payment for future local services.
Purchasing Golden Key does not pay for any future local service.
6. Supported and Unsupported Paid Purchase Locations
Paid Golden Key purchases are not available in Quebec or Saskatchewan at launch.
The free Eldara waitlist may remain available more broadly, including in locations where the paid Golden Key is not currently available.
If a paid Golden Key purchase is made from an unsupported province, territory, country, or location, Eldara may cancel the purchase and issue a refund to the original payment method where possible.
British Columbia and Manitoba are not blocked under this Policy.
7. Payment Processor
Eldara may use third-party payment processors such as Stripe to process payments.
Eldara does not store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or full card credentials on its own systems. Payment information may be collected and processed by Stripe or another payment processor according to that processor's own terms and privacy practices.
By submitting payment information, you authorize Eldara and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown at checkout.
8. Prices, Taxes, and Currency
Unless stated otherwise, prices shown by Eldara are in Canadian dollars.
Applicable taxes may be calculated and shown separately at checkout based on your country, province or territory, postal code, selected city, and other information required for tax calculation.
You are responsible for reviewing the item description, price, taxes, currency, refund terms, purchase restrictions, and checkout details before completing a purchase.
If Eldara is required to collect and remit applicable taxes, those taxes will be charged and handled according to applicable law and Eldara's tax setup at the time of purchase.
9. Checkout Review and Confirmation
Before completing a purchase, you should review all checkout details, including the item being purchased, price, applicable taxes, currency, email address, location information, refund terms, and purchase restrictions.
Where the checkout flow allows correction of errors, you are responsible for correcting inaccurate information before purchase.
After a successful purchase, Eldara or its payment processor may send a confirmation, receipt, or transaction record to the email address you provide. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and ensuring that you can receive transaction-related emails.
Eldara's backend records and payment processor records are the source of truth for payment status.
10. Golden Key Refund Rule
Golden Key purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Eldara approves a refund under Section 11 of this Policy.
Eldara generally does not provide refunds because you changed your mind, no longer want Golden Key, forgot you purchased it, did not read the offer details, expected a specific launch date, expected service availability in your city, or no longer wish to wait for Eldara to launch.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
11. When Eldara May Cancel or Refund a Golden Key
Eldara may cancel or refund a Golden Key purchase at its discretion, including where: duplicate payment occurred; payment was processed by mistake; the purchase was made from an unsupported location; the transaction appears fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, or high-risk; there was a technical checkout error; applicable taxes or payment details were materially incorrect; Eldara cannot process the purchase for legal, tax, compliance, operational, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons; or Eldara cancels the Golden Key program and cannot reasonably provide the core Golden Key benefits described in Section 3.
Where a refund is approved or legally required, Eldara will attempt to refund the original payment method where possible.
12. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method where possible.
Refund timing may depend on Stripe, payment networks, card issuers, banks, and other payment processors. Eldara may initiate or approve a refund, but the time it takes for funds to appear in your account may be controlled by third parties.
Where applicable, refunded amounts may include applicable taxes that were charged on the refunded transaction, unless applicable law or payment processor rules require a different treatment.
Eldara is not responsible for bank fees, foreign exchange differences, card issuer delays, overdraft fees, or other third-party charges, except where required by applicable law.
13. Failed, Declined, or Incomplete Payments
A purchase is not complete until payment is successfully processed and accepted.
If payment fails, is declined, is reversed, is flagged for review, or is not completed, Eldara may refuse or delay the purchase, withhold Golden Key status, request updated information, or cancel the transaction.
Eldara may also cancel a transaction if the payment processor, bank, card network, fraud prevention system, or compliance review indicates that the transaction should not proceed.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe there is a payment error, duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction, or other issue, contact Eldara first at [email protected] so we can review the issue.
You may also have rights through your payment card issuer, bank, or payment provider. Eldara reserves the right to provide transaction records, checkout records, consent records, receipt records, fraud-prevention data, and support communications to payment processors, banks, card networks, or dispute-resolution parties where needed to respond to a chargeback or payment dispute.
Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute does not expand the benefits of the Golden Key or create a right to future services, discounts, credits, or launch availability.
15. No Resale, Transfer, Cash Value, or Credit
Golden Key has no cash value.
Golden Key may not be resold, transferred, exchanged for cash, converted into stored value, or applied as a general credit toward future Eldara services.
This does not limit the one-time $10 promotional discount described in Section 4.
If Eldara later allows gifting, transfers, or family purchases, those features may be subject to separate terms.
16. Future Eldara Services Are Separate
The Golden Key is separate from any future Eldara local service payment, dispatch fee, booking fee, visit fee, service charge, provider payment, managed-service payment, pre-authorization, deposit, or add-on payment.
Future Eldara services may have their own pricing, payment timing, cancellation rules, refund rules, no-show rules, provider terms, estimates, invoices, or checkout notices.
Before you pay for a future Eldara local service, Eldara will aim to show the applicable payment amount, payment model, cancellation rules, refund rules, service scope, and any important limitations for that transaction.
17. Provider-Direct Payments
Some future service outcomes may involve provider-direct payment, where the provider handles final scope, quote, execution, and payment directly with the customer.
Eldara is not responsible for refunding payments made directly to a provider unless Eldara clearly states otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
If you pay a provider directly, that provider's own payment, cancellation, refund, invoice, warranty, and service terms may apply.
18. Add-On Payments and Price Changes
Eldara will not silently change an amount after payment.
If a future Eldara-managed service requires extras, upgrades, additional work, materials, or other additional charges, those charges should be handled through a separate controlled payment step, updated quote, add-on payment, or provider-direct arrangement, depending on the service model.
AI does not make final payment, refund, or price-change decisions for Eldara. Human review may be used for payment exceptions, refunds, disputes, add-ons, or unusual cases.
19. Other Promotions and Future Offers
Golden Key includes only the benefits specifically described in Section 3 and Section 4.
Any future promotion, early-user offer, beta feature, discount, or limited launch opportunity may be subject to separate terms, eligibility rules, expiry dates, location limits, operational availability, and official rules where applicable.
Unless Eldara clearly states otherwise in writing, Golden Key does not guarantee any benefit beyond the benefits specifically described in this Policy.
20. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse
Eldara may refuse, cancel, suspend, investigate, or refund a transaction if Eldara believes there is fraud, abuse, unauthorized payment activity, misuse of promotions, unsupported location activity, suspicious transaction behavior, false information, chargeback abuse, bot activity, or violation of Eldara's Terms of Service.
Eldara may limit or cancel Golden Key status connected to fraudulent, abusive, reversed, disputed, or unauthorized transactions.
21. Changes to This Policy
Eldara may update this Policy from time to time.
When we update this Policy, we may change the effective date above.
For completed Golden Key purchases, Eldara will not use a later policy update to limit any non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
